For Ceremony: (you should arrange for these items and have them ready to use on the wedding day; it is best if you or someone from your family takes responsibility for these, as I will not be able to)
at least four flower garlands (2 nice ones for husband and wife; one small one for Kumbha Puja; one small and simpler one for priest)
sindhur (and applicator, if wanted)
mangal sutra
cloth to be tied together (please make sure that this is a good length, already removed from packaging, not starchy, etc.)
tray/basket with new dhoti and chaddar (or some new cloth -- should be an upper and lower garment), chandan, flowers, etc. for groom
whatever will be given to bride at time of kanyadaanam
sweets (to be used for Ganesh Puja and for bride and groom to feed one another)
whatever is needed for the saptapadi (7 betel nuts, flower petals or rice powered, etc.) Prana Hari d will get betel nuts, Vana will have petals
